The short answer
Connect your own Stripe or Square account under Settings. Quotes then collect a deposit on accept and invoices carry a pay-online link; the money goes straight to your account and BidTorch takes no percentage.
Stripe: paste a key from your Stripe dashboard and BidTorch registers what it needs on your account. Square: connect the account and BidTorch receives the payment notifications for you. Either way a payment on an invoice marks that invoice paid without anyone re-typing it.
Payments are online only: a link on the quote or the invoice that the customer opens on their phone. BidTorch has no Tap to Pay and no card reader.
Until a payment account is connected, quotes and invoices still work; they just do not show a pay button, and you collect the way you do today.
